With over 9 years of relevant experience, Vimal has spent most of his career working with 0-1 brands, particularly in the media and consumer-focused industries. Currently serving as the VP of Product at arré (u digital content pvt ltd), Vimal is leading the charge in building the next big thing in the social audio space, with a focus on creating a product that can impact the world from India. Prior to his current role, Vimal served as the Growth & User Ops Head at ByteDance, where he played a key role in disrupting the Indian music streaming industry with community power through Resso. As head of growth and user operations, Vimal onboarded users and helped them explore the music product, while also finding ways to make Resso important to them. In addition to his work in the tech industry, Vimal is also the founder and storyteller of Zweat.in, an active lifestyle brand for the multi-faceted, fitness-conscious consumer. As CEO, Vimal is focused on inspiring his team to stay focused on their core mission of promoting a healthy, happy life. Vimal holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, with a focus on marketing, strategy, and advertising. He also holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from PSG College of Technology, as well as a high school degree in biology, physics, and math from SBOA.
