Vimal Singh is an experienced SDET with over 7 years of relevant experience in software testing with automation and manual in the retail and e-commerce domains. He has worked with top companies like NoBroker and Sears Holdings as a Technical Associate Engineer and Software Engineer respectively. Vimal has around 3.5 years of experience in mobile app and web testing with IOS and Android. Vimal is responsible for giving training for new joiners and presentations. He is also responsible for Hybrid Framework creation and maintenance with Page object Model and TestNG, Maven. Vimal is an expert in Selenium Web driver automation testing (in Java) and has strong knowledge of Eclipse GIT. He has experience in JMeter, Appium, Cucumber BDD, TestRail, Swing, Apache POI, CSV (javacsv), Exporting jar. Vimal is an expert in Negative Testing and thinking out of the box scenarios. Vimal is proficient in working in Agile methodology based projects and has strong competence in Software Testing of Web-based Applications. He is also responsible for writing test cases and reviewing them. Vimal has hands-on experience in Mac OS and IOS device testing. He is responsible for Build Acceptance Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing. Vimal is also responsible for Defect management which includes raising new defects, defect analysis and follow up to the closure of the defect. Vimal has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Poornima University. He has exposure to Bug tracking Tools like JIRA, Testlink, Mantis, and knowledge of Security testing with scanners mainly ZAP, OpenVAS, Vega, Netsparker.
