◦ OSFuzz: A tool to fuzz OS with a hypervisor. Extended the DRAKVUF(a Binary Analysis System) libinjector library to allow injecting calls
to arbitrary kernel functions that serve as fuzzing targets.
◦ Integrated a dumb fuzzer, which uses Copy-on-write replicas of a VM to try multiple fuzzing payloads and revert the state of VM quickly,
and explored various possible integrations of AFL with existing framework.

Awareness We raise awareness of the threats and vulnerabilities that exist in the Internet today. Many individuals and organizations do not realize they are a target, nor understand who is attacking them, how, or why. We provide this information so people can better understand they are a target, and understand the basic measures they can take to mitigate these threats. This information is provided through our Know Your Enemy series of papers.

Information For those who are already aware and concerned, we provide details to better secure and defend your resources. Historically, information about attackers has been limited to the tools they use. We provide critical additional information, such as their motives in attacking, how they communicate, when they attack systems and their actions after compromising a system. We provide this service through our Know Your Enemy whitepapers and our Scan of the Month challenges.

Tools For organizations interested in continuing their own research about cyber threats, we provide the tools and techniques we have developed. We provide these through our Tools Site.

◦ Worked on a principled approach to recover C/C++ types from stripped binaries. Generated a data-set by compiling standard binaries
with debug information and extracted function signatures, types and location of variables. Lifted stripped binaries to VEX IR, and
implemented Value Set Analysis Algorithm to find relations between values at different memory locations.
◦ Performed various experiments for lab research projects in Program Analysis(particularly in Symbolic Execution and Taint Analysis).

◦ Developed and contributed to vulnerability detection scripts which includes JSONP endpoint detection, SMBLoris detection, TR069
vulnerability, and WordPress Content Injection Vulnerabilities.
◦ Implemented a dedicated cookies library and related scripts, added detection of web-services, and fixed existing bugs in nmap.

◦ Developed software for a Hyperloop Pod prototype based on FreeRTOS, worked on writing Sensor Interfacing and CAN Protocol Libraries.
◦ Hyperloop India became one of 24 international finalists for the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition II. The team built and demonstrated a
working pod prototype at SpaceX Headquarters in Hawthrone, California.

HITS

Hyperloop India is working on the development of hyperloop concept. Hyperloop is a high-speed ground transportation concept, in which levitating pods carrying passengers move through near vacuum tubes at a very high speed. Started as a collaboration project among the students from BITS Pilani, IIM-A, and ISB. The project is targeting to clear SpaceX Hyperloop Test Track competition occurring in January 2017. Claims to be a non-profit project as of Dec 2016.
