Vinay Gupta is a highly experienced technology leader with over 18 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering, AI, deep learning, NLP, and product management. He is currently serving as the VP of Engineering and India Head at Cognizer Inc, a fast-growing startup in the AI domain. In his current role, Vinay is responsible for leading the engineering team and driving the development of Cognizer's augmented intelligence platform. Vinay is passionate about building strong teams and is currently looking to hire strong developers in the field of data science, NLP, graph, microservices, and DevOps. Prior to joining Cognizer, Vinay held leadership positions at Zocdoc and Trimble Pune, where he served as the Director of Engineering and Head of Engineering, Pune, and Head of Product Development (ICT), respectively. Vinay's educational background includes a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from IIT. At Cognizer, Vinay is leading the development of the most accurate Natural Language Intelligence platform available, which is based on an advanced meta deep learning model and its proprietary HyperFrame architecture. Cognizer has totally ingested all of Wikipedia, Wikidata, DBpedia, Freebase, CIA World Fact Book, and Wordnet and includes over 4.58 million facts. It then ingests all of the companies' enterprise content, including email, documents from file systems or Box, intranet, or enterprise systems. Cognizer can then answer essentially any question, becoming the most valuable information source in a company, turning massive information exhaust into an incredible competitive advantage.
