Vinay Jain is a skilled test engineer and blockchain enthusiast with a passion for developing innovative and meaningful decentralized applications. With over 7 years of experience in the field, he has worked with various blockchain protocols such as Ethereum and Hyperledger and is well-versed in the latest trends and developments in the industry. Currently working as a Blockchain Trainee at Emurgo India, Vinay is involved in functional test design, test case review, and data gathering for complex scenarios. He also develops and maintains automation scripts using Selenium and XML framework Xframium and uses Jenkins for scheduling automation scripts for smoke testing after release builds. Vinay is experienced in Agile-Scrum methodology and has a keen eye for detail, always striving for excellence in his work. Prior to Emurgo India, Vinay worked as an Associate Principal at Saviynt, where he developed and maintained regression automation suite using UFT tool and provided strategic leadership in test design, execution, and project deliverables. He also mentored and trained his team on methodologies, tools, and techniques and conducted functional, usability, regression, end-to-end testing to meet business requirements and end-user perspective for promotions and loyalty system integration with POS, OMS. Vinay has also worked as a Consultant at Capgemini, where he gained expertise in authentication, authorization, LDAP, and identity management and designed high-level scenarios critical with respect to functionalities and analyzed risk during the test plan phase. He also has hands-on experience in device testing, including iPads (Mobile POS), payments, and certification (Payment Terminal). Vinay holds a Full Stack Blockchain Developer certification from Emurgo Academy and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation Technology from JSS Academy of Technical Education and Visvesvaraya Technological University. He also completed his P.U in Computer Science from Carmel Pre University and attended Florence High School. Vinay's technical skills include test engineering, blockchain, Ethereum, SDET, integration, Dapp, parts-of-speech, Selenium, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
