Vinay Karande is a highly skilled software and security engineer with a passion for developing secure, high-performance, and scalable enterprise-level applications. With nearly three years of experience as a Java developer, Vinay has specialized in the domain of authentication system, identity management, application security, and system design. Vinay has implemented a full-fledged OAuth 2.0 framework based on RFC6749 standards consisting of a feature-rich enterprise-level Authorization Server (AS) + Resource Server (RS). He has also successfully integrated it with the eQube Security-as-a-Service platform, enabling third-party clients to authorize users with the help of AS to receive a unique secure token that can be used to access the resource from RS. Vinay has worked on enterprise-level SSO authentication and authorization frameworks and even distributed Security-as-a-Service (SSO) and Data Access Management solutions that integrate various Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) mechanisms, including SAML SSO (IdP + SP), SPNEGO, Kerberos, NTLM, Certificate-based-Authentication, and LDAP. Vinay has solved various Role and Attribute-based Access Control issues and modified them to satisfy various complex business use cases. Vinay has also worked on enterprise-wide SSO solutions, custom data access layer (DAO + ORM layer), data transformation & migration engine, and security audit (accounting and logging) framework. He has analyzed various security-related issues and their impact on the flagship product, created reports on the same, and proposed various solutions to possible threats. Vinay has even been a part of a dedicated pentesting team that tried various attacks on their own product and secured it before releasing it to the actual production environment. He is highly skilled in Python and Java for automation of various tasks with knowledge of C as well. Vinay has demonstrated experience in Javascript and various Web Technologic Stack. Vinay has also worked as a Software Engineer at EQ Technologic, where he worked on developing distributed Security-as-a-Service (SSO) and Data Access/Management solutions that integrated various AAA mechanisms. He has developed enterprise-wide SSO solutions, custom data access layer (DAO + ORM layer), data transformation & migration engine, and security audit (accounting and logging) framework. Prior to that, Vinay worked as a Training and Placement Coordinator at the College of Engineering Pune.
