Vinay Penta is a Product Owner with approximately 3 years of work experience in product management, product development, strategy, road mapping, and requirement gathering for mobile and e-commerce applications in the fashion, hospitality, fintech, and pharma domain. He is an IIML graduate with a PGDM degree and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics Engineering from VJTI. Currently, Vinay is working as a Senior Management Trainee at Hexaware Technologies, where he is responsible for the Product Owner role of the mobile application for a Singapore-based hospitality group with 10+ brands. He oversees and conducts requirement gathering for bookings and loyalty mobile applications, defines user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirement documents for the product. Moreover, he has been involved in the discovery and design phase of a revolutionary customizable virtual showroom platform for a company that dealt with notable luxury fashion brands. Vinay has also worked as a Summer Intern at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where he identified user types and their roles across corporate functions through qualitative research, mapped user flow to build a uniform streamlined tender process flow for the discovery phase of a tender management platform, and identified and evaluated use cases and user stories for an employee chatbot platform. Additionally, he has worked as an Application Developer at Oracle, where he transformed a web-only product to a mobile product within only 2 months, completely streamlined the DevOps process to a one-click process, and laid the groundwork to build a formal mobile development team. Vinay's technical skills include Mobile, product management, Senior Software Engineering, DevOps, and Web. He has performed competitive analysis and benchmarking to find and fill gaps, harnessing their partnership in line with the future trends of the industry. Furthermore, he has worked alongside the VP of Customer Experience Transformation to design a strategic framework to evaluate potential product partners for the BU. Vinay has been one of the 2 among 21 interns retained by his BU for excellent performance on his project of creating a potential roadmap of a B2B e-commerce platform client.
