Vinay R. is a seasoned Robotic Process Automation Consultant with over 9 years of experience working in the ISV, Telecommunication, Banking, and Retail industry. He has a proven track record of delivering successful projects with his expertise in Business Process, Requirements Analysis, Data Analysis, and Requirements Gathering. Vinay is highly skilled in Project Management, Program Execution, and Business Analysis, working closely with business teams and technical teams to do GAP Analysis, Process Design and Improvement, and SDLC, having worked on Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. Currently, Vinay is the Automation COE Lead at Ansys, where he is responsible for building the Automation COE, managing the Automation Development team, building and managing infrastructure for RPA (Process Automation), AI/ML, Microsoft Power Automation, and Alteryx (Data Analytics). He is also creating the Automation Pipeline by working with Finance, HR, Solution Partner, Sales, and Marketing Champions, setting up the Automation Governance Model, and working on setting up in-house RPA, AI/ML, and Alteryx Capabilities. Vinay is also responsible for approving the automation technical design. Prior to Ansys, Vinay worked as the Lead Software Engineer, Robotic Process Automation, at Autodesk, where he provided technical feasibility analysis, developed projects using the UiPath tool, reviewed the technical design of the projects, and provided the inputs to implement the best solution for the manual process. He also worked with Developers on their day-to-day development issues and provided the required guidance to solve the issues, worked with the RPA OPS team to educate about their Team RPA Life Cycle, and made them understand the Finance Projects to support 24/7. Vinay led three full-time RPA Developers (Off-Shore). Before Autodesk, Vinay was a Developer - Robotic Process Automation at Badger Sport, where he identified the non-value-added activities in the processes with regards to ROI, implemented End to End Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath, developed the object and workflow for client requirements, performed tool evaluation and feasibility to help in selecting suitable Automation tool for RPA implementation, designed, developed and tested bot tasks, used VB.net coding in Excel for particular formula modifications, provided Exception handling at every possible scenario for a robust error-free development, and participated in online meetings to demonstrate the capabilities of RPA for on-going projects and potential clients.
