Vinay Rai is a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Engineering at Netradyne, where he is responsible for hiring engineers at all levels. He is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Netradyne, where he has built cloud-connected, intelligent devices that analyze and report every moment of driving behavior using vision and other inertial sensors. Vinay and his team are also using the enormous vision data collected by their devices to build high-precision maps for autonomous vehicles. At Netradyne, he is focused on building a scalable cloud infrastructure and IoT platform to analyze terabytes of streaming data and provide actionable insights to customers. Prior to his current role, Vinay worked at CA Technologies as a Director of Engineering, where he was part of CA's first big data and analytics product/research initiative as part of the Business Innovation Group. He successfully defined and delivered CA Arcot's Fraud Prevention product, RiskMinder, for both eCommerce and enterprise. Vinay also led the technical site vitality and office champion initiatives at CA, Bangalore. Before joining CA Technologies, Vinay worked at Arcot (acquired by CA) as a Senior Manager of Engineering, where he moved through various roles and led the development of Arcot's Fraud Prevention/Risk Assessment product serving millions of transactions a day. He also contributed to and subsequently led the development of Arcot's world-leading solution for 3DSecure payments, serving millions of transactions a day and protecting over 100 million cardholders. Vinay has a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and has relevant experience of 25.13 years. He is a skilled Senior Software Engineer, infra, Big Data, and Research Scientist.
