Vinay Singh is an accomplished Software Development Engineer (SDE-II) currently working at Goldman Sachs India, Bangalore. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad, where he also completed his thesis on Natural Language Processing (NLP). He also worked on building a throttle algorithm for order placed on a single and parallel thread and ReferenceDataReader, client, and distributed caching for data manipulation. Vinay has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Research) at Samsung, where he worked on the Text Intelligence Team and Cognitive Vigilance Team. On the Text Intelligence Team, he worked on methods/ideas to utilize the power of knowledge graph on embedded systems to build a personalized application to interact and help users based on their preferences and behavior towards different products and activities. On the Cognitive Vigilance Team, he worked on PoC ideas for building blockchain applications that can be run on low computing devices like smartphones and patent/research paper ideas on the same domain of Blockchain on embedded systems.
