Vinayak Gupta is a self-taught product designer with a background in computer science engineering. He is currently a founding team member at BurnCal, where he leads the end-to-end product design cycle for the BurnCal Member's app. He is also responsible for designing, developing, and managing the entire web user experience using a no-code tool, Webflow. He covers the product design cycle from talking to users to shipping the product, testing, and reiterating it. Vinayak is passionate about designing impactful experiences that empower people and solve human-centric problems. Vinayak has worked with small startups as a designer + developer to gain early industry experience. He joins strings between design and development by playing various diverse roles for the firms. Being a jack of all trades and master of some, he wants to widen up the horizon in terms of knowledge, creativity, technology, and innovation. Prior to BurnCal, Vinayak was a product designer at Urban Company, where he worked with the Design Ops vertical to craft end-to-end web UX for UC Consumer Journey from booking service to Post Booking Request. While crafting web UX, he also built the web design system and its principle for transitioning from pre-existing mobile design system, called Align. He has also worked at OYO Rooms. Vinayak is a Young Jury Member at Awwwards, a community of web designers, developers, and digital creatives. He has a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College and completed his Junior/ High School/ Intermediate from Delhi Public School. Vinayak's tech stack includes designer, product designer, web, mobile, and test. He has relevant experience of 2.02 years.
