Vinod Booshanan is a highly motivated and enterprising senior product owner with a cross-functional experience across multiple domains. With 12 years of relevant work experience in process design, simulation, and optimization, he has demonstrated excellent results in working with various stages of the life-cycle of the process plant right from conceptualization, preparation, and evaluation of technical bids and evaluation of process technologies. Vinod has contributed significantly towards the Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and process software administration. His specific technical expertise lies in the design of plants for the production of hydrogen/syngas, ammonia, including coal gasification. He is exposed to the process design of Hydrogen & Ammonia Plants licensed by KBR, Haldor Topsoe A/S & Linde AG. Vinod has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven abilities in team management and planning. He is flexible and versatile and is able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. He is poised and competent with demonstrated ability to easily transcend cultural differences. He thrives in deadline-driven environments and has excellent team-building skills. Currently, he is working as a Senior Product Owner - Smart P&ID at Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence. Before that, he worked as a Product Owner - Smart P&ID at the same company. He has also worked as a Senior Technical Professional - Syngas at KBR, Inc. Vinod holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Engineering (Process Systems Engineering) from TU Dortmund University, a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Oil and Gas Management from UPES, and Executive Education in Product Management from ISB. He also holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from VIT. Vinod has experience in product management, frontend, QA, software engineering, and testing. With 9.69 years of relevant experience, he has a long-term perspective for organizational development by demonstrating capabilities to understand technological and business initiatives. He always looks for innovation in any assigned work and relates novel ideas to make them pragmatic in administrative and technical sides of the organization.
