Vinod Desai is an experienced software developer with a strong background in building enterprise software applications using AGILE methodology. He has a diverse skill set that includes HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular, C#, SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server), and other web technologies. Currently working as a Software Developer at Crestron Electronics, Vinod is responsible for developing various tools, including Light Fixture Configurator Tool, Flex Configurator Tool, Consultant Calculator, Crestron Design Tool Shades, and Quotes Web. He is also responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web applications on Microsoft Azure servers using Azure Pipelines and Release management. Prior to joining Crestron Electronics, Vinod worked as a Senior Applications Engineer and Application Developer at Oracle. During his tenure, he worked on several projects, including Time and Attendance Dashboard, Time and Attendance Approvals, Timesheet, and Attachments Framework. He also provided code changes/fixes in real-time and worked on various QA and/or Customer Bugs. Vinod holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He also attended Anmol Science PU College, Davangere, Sri Siddarameshwara High School, and Government Primary School.
