Vinod Kumbar is a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for finding bugs in software applications and helping companies release applications to the market without any critical or major bugs. He has around 2 years of experience in Automation Testing, including Playwright JS Automation, Postman API Automation, GIT with BitBucket, Jenkins, and Product Analysis & Katalon Studio. He has tested a wide range of applications, such as Client-Server, Web, Mobile, Retail, Banking, and CRM applications. Vinod has a Bachelor's degree in Information & Science Engineering from VTU university. He currently resides in Bangalore with his family and is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing Cricket, Volleyball, Carom, Table Tennis, and spending time with his family. Currently, Vinod works at Signzy as a Senior QA Engineer, where he leads the Delivery QA team, which involves Integration and Release Management teams. He is working on multiple QA projects (Web and Mobile applications) based on GO, IO, VKYC, API, and AI products of Signzy. His roles and responsibilities at Signzy include participating in Integration SCRUM, understanding the BRDs, deriving Test Scenario and Test Cases for features and bugs, performing Functional and Integration testing on UAT environments, testing the API using Postman in UAT and Production environments, performing Load & Performance Testing on API using Jmeter on UAT environments, performing Sanity and Regression Testing on Production, and logging defects in Jira and working towards defect closures. He also leads and guides the QA team members by looking after their projects and works closely with PMs, BAs, Configuration, and Development teams to plan the Release & Deliver the respective QA projects. In the past, Vinod has worked at Altimetrik and DXC Technology as a Senior Engineer Quality Engineering and Senior Test Engineer, respectively. At Altimetrik, he participated in Sprint Planning meetings, authored and submitted test cases, performed Test Case Execution, raised defects in Jira, verified Prospect Details of SCUBA in CMDB, CRM, and CBS (Flex Cube) systems, performed Test Automation on respective modules, and participated in daily Stand-up meetings. At DXC Technology, he worked on integrating applications like Salesforce, Apttus, Zuora, and NetSuite using MuleSoft and was part of the Salesforce team where he tested the data flow between Salesforce, Apttus, and Zuora applications.
