Vinod Kummari is a Senior Java Developer at FactSet Systems India Private Ltd, where he plays a pivotal role in the development of Portware FX, FactSet’s proprietary FX EMS (Execution Management System). With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Vinod has a deep understanding of the complexities involved in trading currencies in huge volumes, where accuracy is the primary focus. In his current role, Vinod is responsible for implementing complex workflows like Synthetic Swaps, Netting, Single Spot Portfolio (SSP) and Spot-Roll-Swap. He has also worked on facilitating traders to trade a variety of FX instruments like Spots / Forwards / Swaps / SSPs, maintaining connections with all the Banks / Providers who can provide FX Rates, gathering & maintaining the FX Rates from all the connected Banks / Providers, and making the process of decision making easy for the traders in choosing whom to trade with. Prior to joining FactSet, Vinod worked as a Java Developer at Tech Mahindra, where he gained valuable experience in developing enterprise-grade Java applications. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from jntu. Vinod is a highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in developing complex workflows and working with large volumes of data.
