Vinod Narayan is an experienced Agile consultant, coach, educator, podcaster, blogger, vlogger, and content creator with over 13 years of relevant experience. He is a practicing Agile Scrum Master who facilitates and coaches teams at various stages of Agile adoption. He has worked with teams in the E-Learning, IT, Marketing, Sales operations, Data, Ad-Tech, and Digital Transformation Space across the Networking, Banking, and Engineering Organizations. As a Servant Leader and Educator, Vinod has created courses and worked extensively with individuals from college to senior management coaching and training them on Agile Principles both for certifications and career advancement. Agile Scrum is both professional and personal to him. In his avatar outside his professional engagements, Vinod dabbles with Content Creation. He creates podcasts, YouTube channels, and blogs for people interested in being active learners. He brings minimalism and agility together with a goal to help people be Minimal Agile. Minimal in Life & Agile @ Work. He also runs a community (penpositive.com) for those aspiring to be active learners. Currently, Vinod works as an Agile Consultant at Palo Alto Networks, where he works with multiple internal teams currently following Scrum or interested in moving towards Scrum. He acts as Scrum Master & Agile coach, working and supporting multiple teams with a goal to make the teams self-organized and then self-managed. He also works closely with Agile PMOs and IT/Product groups across the various stages of their Agile adoption & Transformation. Currently, he supports three teams in Marketing, CPQ, and Data Analytics, respectively. Before joining Palo Alto Networks, Vinod founded Penpositive, where he was the Founder, Educator, and Podcaster. He did a 2500 mile road trip in Kerala, India, speaking at over 32 venues, including schools, colleges, libraries, and public events, delivering talks on the importance of continuous learning and Agile Thinking in a Changing World. The idea was to evangelize Agile Thinking, which could help in both Education and Employability. To see what can be done, he launched Penpositive.com during the pandemic. At Penpositive, they are building a community of active learners. The goal is to transform Content Consumers to Active & Productive Learners.
