Vinod Sompalli is an experienced people leader with a passion for solving complex problems and driving actionable insights in the areas of Analytics, Product Management, and Supply Chain. With over 5 years of experience in the field, Vinod has developed a deep understanding of how to leverage data to improve business outcomes, particularly in the Retail and Supply Chain sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Operational Insights & Analytics at Target, Vinod leads a team of analysts working on retail and supply chain data to drive insights. His team is primarily focused on reducing unsaleables generated from reverse logistics and maximizing the revenue generated from salvage volumes. Prior to his current role, Vinod served as Senior Analyst of Global Reverse Logistics at Target and as an Analytics Consultant at Tredence. In these positions, he worked on a wide spectrum of consulting projects related to route optimization, forecasting and scheduling, fulfillment, warehouse management, supply chain and operations planning, and retail effectiveness. Vinod holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, as well as a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. He also completed his Class XII studies in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Hyderabad, Telangana, and his SSC studies from Ratnam Residential High School in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. In his free time, Vinod enjoys exploring his passion for photography and travel. With a diverse range of skills and experiences, Vinod is a highly skilled and motivated professional who is committed to driving business success through the strategic use of data and analytics.
