Vinodh Kumar Manickavasagam is an experienced AVP at Barclays, with over 13 years of IT industry experience as a Windows/Linux/System Administrator. He has over 8 years of experience in DevOps, Build and Release Engineer, and Cloud Engineer, with a major focus on Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment, and Infra Automation. Vinodh is experienced in upgrading, performance tuning, migrating, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and monitoring of various Linux and Windows Server operating systems. Vinodh is a great team leader, managing his team by assigning the right tasks to the team members and ensuring the right deliverables with proposed ETA with mentioned standards from both applications and security perspective. He is experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS clustering frameworks, as well as scripting experience on CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Groovy (Jenkins). Vinodh has experience in building, designing, and implementing scalable cloud-based web applications for PaaS, IaaS, or SaaS using AWS. Prior to his current role at Barclays, Vinodh worked as a Cloud Engineer at International Flavors & Fragrances, where he was a member of the Cloud Engineering Team responsible for automating the provisioning of infrastructure in the AWS cloud using open-source software (DevOps toolchain). He also worked as a DevOps Specialist at Verizon, where he was responsible for designing and migrating the On-premise data center application to Cloud. Vinodh has an M.Sc in Software Engineering from Mahendra Engineering College and has completed his secondary education from Kandaswamy Kandar Matriculation Higher Secondary School. His technical skills include AWS, infra, DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Web, Docker, Jenkins, Python, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Integration, and Research Scientist. With 15.53 years of relevant experience, Vinodh is a skilled and experienced professional in the field of DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
