Vinodh Soundarajan is a global executive leader with over 17 years of experience in technology and engineering management across multiple industry verticals and geographies. As the Chief Technology Officer at Katha, he is responsible for delivering complex and scalable enterprise software solutions for fortune 100 companies. His architectural experience in cloud and hybrid-SaaS for supply chain, airlines, healthcare, customer experience, and talent management domains has helped him build and lead multi-country teams through challenging economic conditions. Vinodh has driven engineering and technology functions during M&A and exits and has a results-driven and passion-building leadership style. He is proficient in organization building and entrepreneurship and has hands-on experience in mid-tier, database, analytics, and cloud/internet/opensource technologies. His footprint encompasses mainframe, client/server, Unix/Linux/Ubuntu, Microsoft/Windows/.Net/MSBI, Java/J2EE, Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL, and multiple open-source technologies. Currently, Vinodh is the Chief Technology Officer at Katha, where he has built a strong technology team to deliver the current generation platform for interaction experience and business intelligence. He turned around the company to create an execution focus and cadence of monthly platform releases under the SaaS model. Vinodh has provided cross-functional technology and business leadership to grow the SaaS business from 2 to 15+ enterprise implementations and has championed the organization culture of "succeeding together as one," built on outcomes and teamwork. He has also re-engineered cloud delivery process and performance testing using technologies such as Java, Open Source, MYSQL, MSSQL/BI, Cloud, AWS/SL, Chef, Recipe, Jenkins (Cloud Engineering) among others. Prior to his current role, Vinodh has served as the Chief Technology Officer at Prochant and Somnoware Healthcare Systems. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Penn State University, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from NIT Warangal.
