Vinodh Velayudhan is a business consultant with over 23 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. Vinodh understands that business owners usually know what they want in their desktop, web, or mobile app, but they fail to visualize human behavior and how users act upon the information presented to them as visual design. He believes that a techie or designer who creates the app should create the persona of the business owner/users in their mind. He thinks that a techie believes numbers solve the problem, while a designer thinks presenting the data as good visual information solves the problem. Both fail to understand what the business owner wants to see. Vinodh thinks that business owners mean business, and numbers mean money to them. Thus, creating meaningful calculations out of the numbers and presenting that information that makes sense and helps in making quick decisions is essential. Vinodh loves design challenges and provides workable human-centric design solutions. He thinks that actionable items should be shown to users, and they should be guided. He follows the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) principle and thinks that users should not be made to think. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelors degree from I.C.F Silver Jubilee School.
