Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, he has a proven track record of building and architecting large-scale web and enterprise applications. Vinodkumar is passionate about building high-quality UI/UX solutions with a comprehensive knowledge of design principles and a keen attention to detail. Vinodkumar is always on top of the latest patterns and methodologies in system architecture, with a deep understanding of scaling, testing, and performant solutions. Before joining Netflix, Vinodkumar served as a Senior Software Engineer at eBay and Stanford Health Care. At Stanford Health Care, he worked on rebuilding the current MyHealth platform, which is a single-page Javascript application. Vinodkumar was responsible for the application architecture, usability, optimization for performance, automated testing framework, and build systems. He used AngularJS as the framework of choice for the application and built an event-driven framework for communicating to and from between the app and iframes. Vinodkumar also worked on integrating third-party accounts into the application, using OAuth to link FITBIT and Withings accounts and used Highcharts to display charts based on the activities, weight, and heart rate data from these providers. Vinodkumar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University. His technical skills include software engineering, SQL, web development, testing, Javascript, Typescript, Redux, UI, NodeJS, Python, and frontend development.
