As an Engineering/Track Lead/PM  in the Sales Engineering Group I'm responsible for end-to-end D2P (Development to Production) for Channel Sales App which manages ASC (Apple Sales Consultant) deployments to Channel stores. 

- As a part of this process I'm involved with interacting with Business to gather and prioritize requirements and generate design docs, provide scopes, design & review of data model changes,  and manage features for the release.

Customer Insights Data Platform (September 2013 - May 2014)
(Role: Java Engineer, Hadoop Engineer, User Interface Engineer)
- I was involved in the design and development of hadoop data pipeline using open source “Cascading” for data normalization. The customer data feeds are consumed from data ware house and moved to hdfs using UC4 job scheduler which listens for daily feeds. The data is then processed through stages of the NLP (natural language processing) modules which does tokenization, sentence splitting, stemming, lemmatization and NER
- Worked on building out a search cluster using Elasticsearch as BE and Faceted search as FE for storing, indexing and searching across documents produced above from the data process pipeline.
- Implemented various features as a part of this project - Index time boosting, search results highlighting, Faceted search, sorting and date range filtering
- Integrated the search FE with ebay web analytics for collecting search metrics like user query hits, user- query mapping

eBay Web Crawler Platform (September 2011 - September 2013)
-	Lead developer for eBay Distributed WebCrawler Platform (EWP). 
-	The system was designed to crawl external web pages on various domains to derive analytics and business intelligence on various critical pieces, which includes gathering inventory intelligence and improving the coverage of products on various categories. 
-	Developed a scalable distributed crawler system using SGF (Scatter Gather Framework) and BES (Business Event System), which act as backbone of the system enabling various job and batch events processing.
-	Implemented various entity extractors to derive structured data from unstructured web pages using Hadoop Map/Reduce running on big data.
-	I'm the key contributor and developer for new initiatives and ideas on the web crawler domains. This is signified by the success of "Project Roomba" (Webpage Quality Monitor).

-	The system/services was designed to identify potential risks involved in buyer/seller accounts. The system was designed to detect and prevent ATO (Account Take Overs) by fraudsters who try to game the bidding system.
