Vipin Bansal is a seasoned Software Engineer currently working with Cisco Systems. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Vipin has worked on several projects during his tenure at Cisco, including GETVPN-ESON, DHCP, AVC using DNS on ODL, Protocol Pack Program, and NBAR SDK and Simulator Fidelity. GETVPN-ESON is a Cloud-based service that provides point-to-point security in IWAN3.0 network, while DHCP is a protocol used to provide and manage configurations like IP address to the hosts. AVC using DNS on ODL involves classifying traffic based on domain names and then applying policies using Open Daylight Controller. Protocol Pack Program, on the other hand, is a bundle of PDL files used to classify packets, and NBAR SDK and Simulator Fidelity is an infra used to run unit tests on pre-defined sets of packet captures. Vipin completed his Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology in 2012. He also attended Gharsana, Rajasthan, for his schooling. Apart from his technical expertise, Vipin is skilled in testing, web development, and infrastructure.
