Vipin Jain is a seasoned IT professional with over 35 years of experience in IT infrastructure solution architecture, project management, and service delivery. He has worked with large-scale organizations in India, the USA, and the UK, and has a comprehensive understanding of managing and mentoring highly skilled teams of systems and network engineers. As an IT infrastructure solution architect and pre-sales consultant, Vipin has extensive experience in designing and managing heterogeneous and complex data center environments. He has worked on large and complex RFPs around setting up data centers and disaster recovery centers covering servers, storage, networking/security, and managed services. His expertise also includes capacity planning of servers and SAN. Vipin has delivered mission-critical large IT infrastructure projects involving multiple teams and vendors. He has a talent for strategic planning and management, IT solution architecture, project management, IT policies and procedures, technical support, team management, IT service delivery, managed IT services, cloud computing, virtualization, and SAP migration. Currently, Vipin is working as a Program Director/Group Lead at TCS. He has also worked as a Program Director at CMC and a Delivery Project Executive/Program Manager at IBM. At IBM, he executed multiple client projects for hosting and managing customer’s IT infrastructure in DC/DR environment and transitioned projects from the build phase to steady state. He provided technical direction to project and steady state teams and coordinated with third-party contractors and consultants. Vipin's tech stack includes infra and senior software engineer.
