Vipin P. is an accomplished Assistant Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, with over 15 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity systems and networks. He is a mentor, educator, and founder of Team bi0s - the number one cybersecurity team in India, and FOSS@Amrita. His current role involves enhancing cybersecurity education in India through Capture the Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competitions. He is the first to organize CTF-based cybersecurity training in India through India CTF (InCTF) from 2010. Vipin is also the chief mentor of Team bi0s, the CTF team for Amrita University, which is ranked the number one team in India for the last two years. He is also the founder and chief mentor of the Free and Open Source (FOSS) club of Amritapuri campus known as FOSS@Amrita. His expertise in the field of cybersecurity has made him a sought-after speaker at various national and international conferences. Prior to his current role, Vipin worked as a Senior Manager at Amrita Technologies, where he was responsible for the development of the quality assurance plan, automating the testing and load testing of Amrita Healthcare Information Systems. He also worked as a Senior Developer at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he developed the VehicleStudio Application used by the company to spec and order vehicles for its fleet. Vipin holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Systems and Networks from Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus, a Diploma in Advanced Computing from C-DAC, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathiyar University. He is proficient in various technologies, including test and QA, and has relevant experience of 15.87 years. With his vast experience and expertise, Vipin is committed to making a difference in the field of cybersecurity and education.
