Vipul Gupta is a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect with over 15 years of extensive experience in software solution architecture, information strategy, and system development. He has a proven track record of managing projects from planning through execution/completion, covering all areas of SDLC, including analysis, design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support. Vipul has expertise in analyzing existing business systems and implementing strategies, processes, and technologies to improve productivity and reduce costs. Vipul has played many roles with various responsibilities, including Java Architect, Technical Project Manager, Java Designer, Onsite Coordinator, Project Lead, Team Lead, and Developer. He has versatile domain knowledge such as BigData, IoT, Natural Language Processing, e-Commerce, Insurance, Telecom, Health Care, and Product development domains. Vipul is currently working as a Senior Solutions Architect at EPAM Systems Pune, where he leads the Research and Development Practice under the CTO of the organization and has delivered many projects. Vipul is working on niche and latest technologies like Nodejs, NLP, BigData, Analytics, IOT, and has not only created and architected the NLP project but also helped in providing solutions to many projects and performing architectural reviews. Other than technical, Vipul has contributed to the organization in many ways as he heads the Java Practice and manages the Java resources to identify the best fit candidate. He also identifies the right training for the associates and is consulted by the training team to identify further training material. Vipul leads the Pragmatic Programmer initiative in the organization. In the past, Vipul has worked as a Senior Manager at Capgemini, where he acted as a consultant to resolve technical challenges, provided and reviewed other projects, headed the Java practice, and was part of the core technical and Architect team. Vipul has also worked as a Solution Architect at Schlumberger, where he designed and developed the MVP for monitoring the Job in-transit time between two systems, worked on the APR (Application Portfolio Rationalization) for BSO, and provided inputs and mentoring for Agile projects. Vipul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology from Maharshi Dayanand University and has completed his O level from Simba School and 1 from Birla Senior Secondary School, Pilani.
