Vipul Gupta is a skilled Software Developer enthusiast with a keen interest in problem-solving, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, and Competitive Programming. He is an experienced Research Consultant with proficiency in Python (Programming Language), C++, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, and Machine Learning. He has a strong research background with a Master of Technology in Mathematics and computing from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. In the past, he has worked as a Software Developer Intern at Cisco and Codenation, where he gained exposure to GSON, Jackson, XStream, Kryo, JavaBeans, Devflows, AWS services(S3, Lambda, API GateWay, QuickSight, Glue, IAM, Kinesis), and Typescript. During his internships, he implemented Kinesis Firehose Data Delivery Stream solution in Devflows for ingesting large-amount of real-time data to S3 bucket, setup QuickSight analysis pipeline via Devflows, created a pipeline to perform bulk ingestion on Third-Party System via Devflows, and implemented API Gateway actions to automate workspace creation in Devflows. He also researched various frameworks for finding a workaround for version mismatch errors while migrating configs across different FMC versions and implemented serializing & deserializing to XML using XStream to overcome version mismatch, enabling CLI execution of the above solution, resulting in saving lots of time and effort. Apart from his work, Vipul has also attempted technical blogging on Medium. He has relevant experience of 0.87 years and possesses a strong TechStack, including Software Engineer, Research Scientist, Python, ML, Data Scientist, AWS, and Typescript. Vipul is a Regionalist at ICPC'20 and has participated in GSoC 2020, Inquant LLC, and WorldQuant LLC. He is a versatile individual with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies.
