Vipul Mehrotra is a Talent Acquisition leader with over 20 years of experience in designing TA strategies for hyperlocal tech and ecommerce. He is presently the AVP-Talent Acquisition at Swiggy, where he has been instrumental in expanding the business from 8 to 500+ cities and ramping up the headcount by 10x. Vipul has also been responsible for building the Leadership team across diverse functions. Vipul's consumer-first approach towards TA processes has scaled up multiple organizations and decacorns. He is known for his proven people-focused management skills and the ability to develop talent across industries. At Swiggy, he is leading the Talent acquisition charter for Bundl group, where he is designing and implementing TA strategies and creating candidate-centric processes. He partners with business leaders in identifying the hiring needs through resource planning and building the hiring framework. Vipul is also responsible for hiring the Leadership team (CXO’s, Functional Heads, Product leaders) by proactively mapping key Talent across Industry. Vipul's past experience includes working as Sr. Manager- TA and Manager -Talent Acquisition Volume hiring at Flipkart. At Flipkart, he led the staffing process and completion of annual hiring plans with reference to lateral and volume hiring positions in the supply chain business. He was instrumental in ensuring targeted headcount was achieved for the Big billion day (BBD) Sale for 2014 & 2015 for all levels and verticals in supply chain. Vipul has also led a team of Talent acquisition professionals, ensuring the team’s productivity, learning, and growth. Vipul has completed a HR Business Leadership Programme from Cornell University and a PGDBEM in New Venture Creation from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. He also holds a B COM degree from SIES College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Vipul completed his schooling from Agra Public School and Birla High School.
