Vipul Ujawane is a highly skilled Cybersecurity Graduate Student from Georgia Tech, with an undergraduate degree in Engineering Design - Industrial Electronics from IIT Kharagpur. He is currently working as a Security Engineer Intern at Google, where he has been involved in developing a tool to compare observed Network Traffic with installed Access Control Lists at scale. He has also shadowed and participated in bug resolution and other security operations. Prior to joining Google, Vipul worked as a Vulnerability Research Intern at Saptang Labs, where he developed multiple Proof-of-Concept exploits for vulnerabilities against certain products in the domain of Web Exploitation, Binary Exploitation, and Network Security. He also worked as a Research Intern at NUS-Singtel CyberSecurity R&D Lab, where he researched a feasibility study of Tuple Space Explosion Attack for Kernel and Userspace (DPDK) Drivers of OvS. Vipul has a strong inclination towards Software Development and Cybersecurity. He is knowledgeable in Web-App, Binary Exploitation, Network Security, and Malware Research, with skills including Metasploit, Wireshark, IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Burp Suite. He is an avid Capture the Flag contestant and has relevant experience of 0.95 years. Vipul's education history includes a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech, which he is expected to complete in May 2023, and a Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in Engineering Design - Industrial Electronics from IIT. Vipul's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Web, Software Engineer, and Infra. He has a passion for exploring new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems.
