Viraj Bhosle is a Senior Software Developer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as an SDE-2 at zeta, Viraj is a backend developer with a quick grasp of conceptually different technologies. He has a good understanding of concurrent programming and is interested in advancements in distributed systems. Viraj has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Morgan Stanley and CitiusTech. At Morgan Stanley, he designed architecture for new requirements, refined it with team discussions, and developed Java microservices for transaction reporting. He also set up Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for the new project and identified flaws in existing tests that failed to catch many bugs. Viraj wrote SQL queries for ad-hoc data analysis, which then served as a reference point for the team. He also trained interns on design patterns and Spring. At CitiusTech, Viraj developed a Spring Batch application to parse 100k CCDA xmls in parallel. He conducted basic performance analysis of the batch application to probe for memory leaks. Viraj also developed a data dictionary for a new type of clinical standard, which is a tedious job. He semi-automated it with Spring command-line application to scan model classes of input parser jar recursively and generate data dictionary.
