Viraj Khatavkar is an experienced web developer with a deep understanding of the online world. Viraj has specialized in PHP/Javascript development with most of his experience in Laravel, Cakephp & Vue. Currently, Viraj is working as a Web Application Developer at Harbor Compliance, where he was the second engineering hire. He started by wearing multiple hats from product management to recruiting the initial team and communicating with the business stakeholders for outlining a product roadmap. He is also involved in the development of the application and leading the efforts on building a robust test suite to cover all the use-cases to accommodate the complexities of licensing compliance. Viraj is highly involved in building and maintaining the test-suite using PHPUnit and Codeception testing frameworks along with a continuous delivery pipeline for effective deliveries. Simultaneously, he is working on optimizing the company's web application back end used to conduct all company business. He helped in adapting Vue as their primary front-end framework. Viraj has also worked as a Laravel & Vue Consultant at Pointbold Ltd, where he experimented with new technologies like Cordova on enterprise projects. He primarily worked on projects using Laravel & Vue. He has also worked as a Guest Writer and Reviewer at Pusher, where he was involved in editing submitted articles, technical writing, and guiding newcomers in professional as well as technically accurate work. Viraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He also completed his High School from Abhinav Vidyalaya.
