Viraj Samesh is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 15 years of expertise in the Storage Domain and PLM Domain. He is a problem-solver with a deep understanding of data structure algorithms, providing simple and optimized solutions for complex and challenging problems. With a strong knowledge of software design, design principles, and cloud storage services like AWS, AZURE, and Open Stack, Viraj is proficient in developing Rest API using C, C++, Python, Perl, Node, and Java. Currently, Viraj works as a Staff Software Engineer at Jetty Solutions, where he helps build and cultivate innovation by driving cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams. He leads the design of major software components, systems, and features, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and improves software. Staff Software Engineer at Tata, where he performed feasibility studies to validate capability and functionality, created new concepts from initial design to market release, guided support personnel, and handled projects. Moreover, he drafted and submitted intellectual property, documented all phases of research and development, researched and assessed current technologies, and evaluated and synthesized vendor activities to assist development. Viraj also worked as a Development Team Lead at LG Electronics Egypt, where he assisted in technical recruitment of software developers, set clear team goals, delegated tasks and set deadlines, oversaw day-to-day operations, monitored team performance, and reported on metrics. He motivated team members, discovered training needs, and provided coaching, listened to team members’ feedback, and resolved any issues or conflicts. Additionally, he recognized high performance and rewarded accomplishments, encouraged creativity and risk-taking, and suggested and organized team building activities. Viraj holds a Doctor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University.
