Virendra Dakhode is a seasoned Data Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field of Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, GCP, Cloud, Python, and Databricks. As a Hadoop Developer, he has been utilizing his technical knowledge to increase the computational speed of data processing and to fulfill business needs. His basic intention is to understand the requirement, and use MapReduce, PIG, Hive for providing solutions and processing business computations. Virendra has hands-on experience in MapReduce, Hive, PIG latin, NoSql, and has built Spark Scripts by utilizing scala shell commands depending on the requirement. He is also familiar with data loading tools like Flume, Sqoop, and has knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie. He is capable of processing large sets of structures, semi-structured & unstructured data. Virendra's expertise lies in writing Hadoop jobs for analyzing data using HQL (Hive QL), PIG latin & custom map reduce programs in Java. He has worked on different big data and cloud projects and has explored different big data tools from the Hadoop and Spark ecosystem like Hive, HBase, Spark-SQL, Spark-Streaming, Kafka, etc. He has also explored some cloud-native components like AWS EMR, Redshift, RDS, Azure cosmos DB, Azure data bricks, GCP data proc, etc. Currently, Virendra is working as a Technical Lead at Wipro. He has previously worked as an IT Analyst at TCS and a Senior Software Engineer at Nihilent. He has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. He also holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Government Polytechnic, Amravati.
