Vishal Ananthakrishnan is a highly skilled Software Engineer at Google with a passion for security and a keen interest in sports. With almost three years of relevant experience, Vishal has worked on a range of projects that have helped him develop a strong technical skill set and a deep understanding of the field. Currently, Vishal is working as a Software Engineer III at Google, where he is responsible for providing experiences for sports queries on Google Search. He has also worked on the relative ranking of various 3P & 1P features on the page for soccer queries for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Prior to this, Vishal worked as a Software Engineer II at Google, where he built visualizers, dashboards, and debuggers for ML developers to make it easy to onboard their models into the Google Edge TPU. He also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, where he created a new alert in the Admin Console-Alert Center to surface anomalous security incidents, enabling greater visibility for the admins, as a part of the Google Apps team. Vishal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from SSN College of Engineering, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his High School education in Computer Science from Kola Perumal Chetty Vaishnav Sr. Secondary School and his Primary and Secondary Education from Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Vishal's technical skills include Software Engineering, Search, and ML. He is also an eJPT certified security enthusiast.
