Vishal Arora is a highly experienced Principal Engineer with a strong background in Android development. He is currently working at ixigo, where he has incorporated Android Architecture Components to simplify lifecycle management across the app. Vishal is passionate about writing and maintaining clean code through multi-layered app architecture, testing processes, and using tools such as Dagger2, which facilitate and promote clean code. Prior to joining ixigo, Vishal worked as an Android Developer at tapzo, where he modularized the app codebase to improve the separation of concerns and build speed. He also developed a semi-open wallet (TapzoWallet) to mitigate friction in performing digital transactions on the Tapzo platform, as well as PaymentSDK, which supported dynamic routing of digital transactions from multiple payment gateways. Before that, Vishal worked as an Android Developer at cube26, where he independently handled the design development & deployment of various services, applications, frameworks in IoT category of Android Application. He efficiently wrote unit tests for mobile code, debugged critical application issues such as crashes, memory leaks, concurrency problems, and tested code for robustness, executed edge cases, usability, & general reliability analysis. Vishal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2015.
