Vishal Babu is an experienced Lead Data Scientist with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He is currently working at Instant Systems Inc as a Lead Data Scientist, where he is responsible for leading the team of data scientists and delivering end-to-end data science projects. Vishal is highly skilled in various technologies and tools like Python, Java, Spark, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, AWS, and many more. He has a strong background in Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Object Detection. He has worked on many interesting projects like real-time object detection classification as tracking (ODCT), Anomaly detection in manufacturing using DCGAN, and autonomous navigation and Mandarin to English machine translation. Before joining Instant Systems, Vishal worked at blackstraw.ai as a Sr. Data Scientist, where he worked on various projects related to Computer Vision, NLP, and Deep Learning. He was responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models for object detection, classification, and tracking. He also worked on Anomaly detection in manufacturing using DCGAN and autonomous navigation projects. Vishal also worked at Equinix as a Data Scientist, where he was responsible for identifying ML use cases, doing POCs on them, and converting them into projects or services and integrating them with the existing product. He has a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Motivational Pathway. In addition to his technical skills, Vishal is an excellent team player and has strong communication and analytical skills. He is passionate about learning new technologies and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.
