Vishal Chebrolu is a highly motivated System Software Engineer at NVIDIA with a passion for working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of computer systems. He is an avid learner who loves to work on things beneath the hood and has experience building compilers and operating systems. Vishal is enthusiastic about working on software for new devices that have a positive impact. Currently, Vishal is working at NVIDIA on Compiler software, where he is building a Compiler driver in DOCA-SDK (Data Centre on a Chip) for Bluefield DPU. He was the first hire in the Embedded CPU Compiler team at NVIDIA, where he has been able to leverage his expertise to make a significant contribution to the team's success. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Vishal worked as an Application Engineer at Oracle, where he worked on Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud application development. During his tenure at Oracle, he became acquainted with Helium, a tool based on Docker. He also worked as a Student Developer at LLVM during Google Summer of Code, where he built the MergeSimilarFunctions optimization pass. Vishal tackled the IR divergence problem that leads to mis-compiles and benchmarked projects like MySQL, Qemu, and LLVM. Vishal holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from V.S St. John's Higher Secondary School, Gannavaram, in 2014. Vishal's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Docker, and MySQL. With 3.11 years of relevant experience, Vishal is a highly skilled and motivated engineer who is always looking for new challenges to tackle.
