Vishal Chitrala is an experienced SQL Datawarehouse Developer with over 14 years of experience in versatile domains including banking, energy, and internet industries. He is currently working as a Technical Lead at Aligned Automation, where he is responsible for implementing technical cloud-based solutions and building data pipelines in Azure, Azure SQL, and Power BI dashboards. Vishal is skilled in SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Big Data Analytics, Tableau, Looker, AWS, Data Warehousing, Management, and Hadoop. He has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Throughout his career, Vishal has worked alongside stakeholders and business users to understand business requirements and transform them into technical specifications. Vishal has also designed and built automated ETL solutions using SSIS/T-SQL programming to extract data from various data sources such as flat files, FTP servers, SAP, Google big query, and other databases like MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Servers. Moreover, Vishal has built data marts derived from EDW pertaining to subject areas such as sales/email marketing/core conversion metrics. He has also built SSAS cubes and is well-versed with MDX queries to query cubes. Vishal has built SSIS packages to automate populating and loading data in the cube and also automate creating dynamic partitions. He is well-versed with SQL Server reporting solutions.
