Vishal Garg is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a goal to automate everything in sight and drive down grunt work and costs. He is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer 2 at Media.net, where he is responsible for designing, building, and monitoring large scale systems. Vishal is constantly assessing and improving his own performance and the performance of the systems he manages. Vishal has a strong background in Information Technology, having completed his Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology from Dhiru Bhai Ambani Institute and his Bachelor of Computer Application from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS). He also has a CBSE degree from D.A.V Public School, Rohini. With 4.78 years of relevant experience, Vishal has worked with Directi in the past, where he held the positions of Site Reliability Engineer and Intern. As an intern, he developed a containerized PAAS solution to create proxy services, where with minimal effort, Varnish Cache, HAproxy, and Nginx can be spawned on Kubernetes cluster. The goal was to provide users with complete abstraction of deployment and monitoring of these services. Vishal's technical skills include SRE, dotNET, and Kubernetes. He has a passion for automating everything and driving down costs, which makes him an asset to any team he works with. With his strong background in IT and his experience in large scale systems, Vishal is well-equipped to take on new challenges and drive results.
