Vishal Gupta is an experienced Engineering Manager in Analytics and Reporting at Tekion. He is a web engineer with a passion for building optimized and scalable web products and solutions. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Vishal has a hands-on development experience with React.js, Vue.js, Node.js, Vuex, Redux, and RestAPIs. Currently, Vishal is working on a variety of technologies including React.js, Vue.js, Node.js, PWAs, Sockets (using nodejs), Web Canvas Graphics, Python, and Dgraph. He is also interested in optimizing social connections with Dgraph, recommendation engines, full-text search, performance measurement and optimization, and design patterns. In his previous roles, Vishal has worked as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer II at Tekion and Goibibo respectively. At Tekion, he was responsible for building amazing cloud analytics services for the automotive industry, while at Goibibo, he built direct business impacting flows for hoteliers in React.js and worked on backend for frontend with node. He also has experience in growth hacking mobile app users and has been a tech speaker. Vishal is a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He enjoys working in the open-source software world, scripting languages like JavaScript and Python, and debugging. He prefers to follow an optimized algorithmic approach to problem-solving.
