Vishal Gupta is an Engineering Analyst at Goldman Sachs with a passion for exploring distributed systems and the vast ecosystem of backend technologies. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani Hyderabad Campus. With 1.86 years of relevant experience as a SDE, Vishal has end-to-end completed multiple features into production, debugged and solved different production issues, and analyzed and documented complex existing codebases when the requirement was to migrate existing traffic. He has also helped improve the quality of existing systems by working on improving the Unit Test coverages. Vishal is proficient in Java, C++, Spring, Javascript, Git, Github, Python, and MySQL. He is currently trying to absorb and working with Java Spring microservices. He gets really excited about learning new tech and spends time reading and understanding how different technologies solve certain sets of problems. Vishal has worked as an Intern at Upgrad and Birla White, where he gained valuable experience in Information Technology. He is a graduate of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
