Vishal Jha is an Engineer/Senior Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India with a background in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. He has 2.94 years of work experience in the Maritime Industry and has worked/interned at reputed organizations like IRS, GRSE, and NIOT. Currently, he is completing his Masters in Software Systems (Computer Science) at BITS Pilani. Vishal is interested in learning new technologies such as underwater robotics, ML/AI, Game Development, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. He is keen on working on projects in the Computer Science domain and interdisciplinary domains like unmanned ships/self-driving cars. He is actively seeking opportunities and projects in these areas. In his previous roles, Vishal worked as an Assistant Surveyor and Summer Intern at Indian Register of Shipping. He was responsible for various tasks such as inclining experiments, intact stability assessment of a pontoon, structural analysis of a 75 passenger RO-PAX ferry, structural analysis of under deck stiffening of a helicopter landing grid, and more. Vishal has a Master's degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Technology in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam. He completed his 12th grade from Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School with a science stream. Vishal's tech stack includes Blockchain, AI, ML, Mobile, and he is a Senior Software Engineer. He is a quick learner and has a passion for exploring new technologies. With his interdisciplinary background, he brings a unique perspective to any project he works on.
