Vishal Kashyap is an accomplished Autonomy Software Engineer with a passion for Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and robotics. Currently pursuing his Master's degree in Advanced Robotics from the Queen Mary University of London, he has gained extensive experience in the field of ML and AI. With over 3.44 years of relevant experience, Vishal has worked for TrexQuant Investment LP as an ML Quantitative Researcher, where he was responsible for predicting stock market moves. He has also worked as a Global Alpha Researcher for the same company, where he won the Sep’18 GAR competition for originality and potential usefulness of ideas for strategies and the Feb-Mar'19 GAR competition for the highest performing algorithmic Global strategies. Prior to that, Vishal worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for Wipro, where he provided automating solutions to customers. He was responsible for Time Series Forecast and Anomaly Detection, where he predicted server load in order to automate resource allocation. He detected anomalies in the server load time series by engineering features and using the Naive Bayes algorithm. He also evaluated ARMA, ARIMA, GARCH, and LSTM Recurrent Neural Network models for predicting server load. Vishal's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a current Master's degree in Advanced Robotics from Queen Mary University of London.
