Vishal Kukreja is a seasoned IT professional with over 8 years of experience in the fields of Data Warehousing, Big Data Development, Teradata Development, and SQL Development. He is currently working as a Snowflake, Big Data & Teradata Developer at Impetus, where he holds the position of Lead. Vishal has extensive experience in Big Data development, with over 2 years of experience in this field. He has a good understanding of Spark Architecture and Components such as Spark Core & PySpark, Spark SQL with Data Frames. In addition, he has over 4 years of experience as a Teradata DBA and Developer, working on versions 14.10 to 15.10 and using all Teradata utilities such as SQL Assistant, Teradata Administrator, and Teradata Utilities: Mload, Bteq, Fload, TPT, Macros. He is also proficient in server monitoring using Viewpoint and has a decent understanding of Teradata workload management and Teradata Active system management. Vishal is skilled in writing large/complex queries using SQL and enjoys working with data and performing analysis. His tech stack includes SQL, Snowflake, Spark, and Big Data. Prior to joining Impetus, Vishal worked at Capgemini as a Big Data Developer & Teradata Consultant, where he gained experience in using query tools like SQL Developer, Teradata SQL Assistant, and writing large/complex queries using SQL. He also worked at Teradata as a Teradata DBA and Developer, where he was responsible for Teradata administration, space management, security management, user management, performance tuning, and backup and recovery. Vishal holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
