Vishal Kumar is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Coinbase, where he holds the position of Software Engineer (IC4). Prior to this, he worked at Nutanix, where he served as Member of Technical Staff 3 and Member of Technical Staff 2. Vishal is a Computer Science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, where he completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He is a quick learner who enjoys taking on challenging projects and learning new technologies in the field of computer science. During his time at Nutanix, Vishal worked on creating Redpool SDK, which is used for Redfish-based BMC interactions. He also worked on migrating all the LCM upgrade modules to consume Redpool, which resulted in improved timing, performance, and reduced dependency on legacy tools. Additionally, he worked on a flask-based plugin for Redpool in REST API server, which can be loaded and activated dynamically on any environment. Vishal's previous experience also includes building and designing a framework-plugin architectured python library called Redpool, which provides a common interface for all interactions with the BMC using Redfish APIs. He also worked on LCM (Life cycle manager), which manages infrastructure software and firmware upgrades with comprehensive dependency management. Vishal has a strong technical skill set that includes Python, Web3, Flask, SQL, Django, Deep Learning, CI/CD, Redis, Docker, Web, and infra. He is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a passion for technology.
