Vishal Lad is a seasoned Software Engineer with almost 14 years of experience in web development. He has a strong background in Front-End Engineering, but also has experience working with backend technologies like NodeJS, Java, and Ruby on Rails, as well as integrating web applications with CMS like AEM and SDL Tridion. Vishal is passionate about programming and learning design patterns to solve various programming challenges. He strongly believes in the Software Craftsmanship manifesto and has played various roles throughout his career. Vishal has been part of the era when Flex/Flash/AIR were considered mainstream frameworks for UI development. Currently, Vishal is working as a Software Engineer at Schlumberger. In the past, he has worked as a Technical Architect Associate Manager and Software Engineering Team Lead at Accenture. At Accenture, Vishal worked as a Lead Front-End developer for a large Nordic bank and provided solutions for web/mobile applications using Flex, HTML 5/Javascript, and PhoneGap. He also acted as a Lead Developer/UI Architect for complex Single Page Applications web/mobile and provided solutions to AngularJS and BackoneJS based applications. Vishal has experience handling RFP/RPI. Vishal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. He also has a background in Science from T & T.V High School, Surat.
