Vishal Raghav is a Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) at Toddle, with over 4 years of experience in web technologies. He is a quick learner and has a good understanding of web development using HTML, CSS, and various JavaScript frameworks. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Leadsquared, where he was part of the Converse Frontend team. In his role at Leadsquared, Vishal wrote unit tests for all React components, resulting in a code coverage increase from 0 to above 90% for every file. He also added an Emoji picker to add emoticon support in Converse, made the Converse widget responsive horizontally and vertically, and introduced a better deployment flow, resulting in more structured deployment. Vishal improved code quality over time by breaking down larger components, stopping unnecessary re-renders, and adding gzip compression support for cloudfront distribution, resulting in much smaller JavaScript bundle sizes being served over the network, drastically improving loading performance. He also integrated Converse widget seamlessly inside an iframe in a new CRM platform being developed for sales users and integrated Carter Notification Bot inside an iframe in the same platform. Prior to his current role, Vishal worked as a Software Engineer for a US-based client CareOff at Decabits Software, where he was responsible for handling all the new features being built, all bugs that they encountered, and handling the CI and CD using AWS CodeBuild. He also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Wingify, where he migrated part of their codebase from ES5 to ES6, changed their build tool from Grunt to Webpack, created a Slack app to integrate VWO features directly into Slack, created a Facebook messenger bot, and written tests for Vue components in Jasmine. Vishal graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology in 2019.
