Vishal Ramaswamy is a seasoned corporate innovation and strategy professional with over 14 years of experience in program management, intrapreneurship, and building and scaling verticals. He is currently working as the Lead - Program Management at Lowe's Innovation Labs in Bangalore, where he is responsible for driving innovation by identifying and crystallizing problem statements with business stakeholders, scouting and partnering with innovative deep-tech start-ups for customized solutions, and executing POCs. He also manages and oversees the end-to-end execution of the accelerator and open innovation programs, leading a team and managing 8 POCs with over 50 senior cross-functional decision-makers in solving complex problems. Prior to Lowe's, Vishal worked as the Vice President - Venture Building & Strategic Initiatives at Alteria Capital Advisors LLP, where he built the 'Activate Platform', a collaboration platform designed to help startups, corporates, and investors connect with each other to achieve successful outcomes through partnerships, vendor relationships, and investments. He also partnered with large corporates, understood innovation challenges and digitalization mandates, and scouted for relevant startups to connect them with corporates to explore synergies. Before Alteria Capital Advisors LLP, Vishal worked as the AVP, Business Development, EMEA Region at Tracxn, where he built and managed relationships with 300+ top senior executives from the European investor community and large corporates across sectors and functions. He also worked closely with VP, Strategic Alliances to build mutually beneficial partnerships with large data and research companies and acquired institutional client base using a consultative approach for Tracxn's SaaS-based private market intelligence tool in the EMEA region. Vishal holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in PGDM (GM) from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology. He is also proficient in Senior Software Engineering, Research Science, and testing.
