Vishal Rastogi is a seasoned Cloud Engineer (DevOps) with over 4 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Cisco, where he has gained hands-on experience in various DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, ADO pipeline, Azure, Red Hat Openshift, Jenkins, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Linux, and ELK stack. At Cisco, Vishal has worked on several projects, including upgrading the AWS-EKS clusters, RDS instances, and AWS-EMR cluster. He has also created new regions for migration end-to-end via Terraform CI pipelines and worked on Terraform modules to modify or upgrade infra changes. Prior to Cisco, Vishal worked at Amdocs as a System Administrator (Cloud DevOps) where he was responsible for migrating legacy applications to Azure cloud on WebApp service end-to-end using Docker and Linux shell scripting. He also containerized the web-application using Docker and deployed it using ADO (Azure DevOps) CICD pipelines to ACR (Azure container registry) and WebApp service. Additionally, he worked on setting up and configuring the Infra using Terraform Pipelines (for Disaster Recovery environment as well). As a Senior System Engineer (DevOps) at Infosys, Vishal developed and maintained automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployment using Jenkins on Openshift Container Platform hosted in AWS. He has hands-on experience in AWS including Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) like EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, ELB, IAM, Route53, Auto Scaling Groups. He also worked on Ansible to create automation scripts for deploying multiple VMs in the cloud and used Terraform to deploy a multi-tier application with various AWS resources on AWS cloud using Terraform scripts.
