Vishal Sevani is a seasoned technologist with over 9 years of experience in the field of computer science and engineering. He is currently working as the Head of Networking at Banyan Intelligence where he is responsible for building proof systems for blockchain-enabled networks using WitnessChain. Prior to this, Vishal worked as a Consultant Technologist at the Centre for Networked Intelligence, RBCCPS-EECS, IISc Bangalore where he worked on two key projects - overlay time-slicing for WiFi networks and design, implementation, and evaluation of efficient algorithms for real-time video streaming for remote control of autonomous vehicles over wireless networks. He has also worked as an Independent Contractor at De Novo Group .org where he developed software for managing operations of a wireless ISP. The software was a full-fledged suite that performed diverse functions like network monitoring, network discovery, billing, ticketing system, etc. Vishal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai, a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology from CDAC (formerly National Centre of Software Technology), and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Vishal is highly skilled in various technologies such as Blockchain, Javascript, Backend, NodeJS, Frontend, Web, Java, Research Scientist, Neural Networks, and Microservices. His expertise in these areas has helped him excel in his roles and deliver outstanding results.
